Lego Star Wars Advent Calendar 2013 Day 7: Nice Rack!

It's already day 7 of our trek across the warring stars and that means another dip into this year's Lego Star Wars advent calendar. After yesterday's reveal of a grimacing, unsung Endor rebel soldier I began to get a Han Solo-esque "bad feeling" that today we'd get nothing more than his accessories. Was I right? Do I know how this stuff works? Or am I all sound and fury signifying nothing?

Let's pop open Door Number 7 and find out...

Sonnovabitch! I DO know what I'm talking about! When it comes to disappointing gifts I have Jedi-like perception! Yes, today is nothing more than a generic Lego weapons rack, complete with three blasters of various sizes. At least there's a variety of options here, which means that these should be enough to kit out any future minifigs in the coming days. This happens every year. Is it out of you system now, Lego? Come on! Surprise us!

Can I squeeze another paragraph out about a gun rack? Nope!

And for those keeping score, each day I pit this calendar against the Playmobil Jurassic Park one. BOTH were disappointing accessories today, and so I'm going to concede a tie. However, unlike Day One's tie when I awarded BOTH a point, I'm going to award NEITHER a point, because this sucks. Especially on a Saturday! So the scores remain the same. Let's hope for better next time...
