It's day 14 of our often sleep-inducing sojourn into the Lego Star Wars advent calendar which, so far, has really only excelled in turning my $50 into a pile of indeterminate brown bricks. Will the trend continue today? I'm counting on it!

Indeterminate pile of brown bricks! Well... At least they're consistent! This one kind of looks like the head of a crocodile. Made of chocolate.
Look, you're really going to have to use your imagination on this one. It's intended to be a Geonosian Starfighter (piloted by those bug-like drone guys on Geonosis). But something was clearly lost in translation because the real vehicle is far more graceful...
I guess that whoever designed today's gift at least got to go to lunch early.
Each day I pit this calendar against the Jurassic Park Playmobil one. Both were a disgrace today (come to think of it, they were a disgrace last Saturday too. Way to spoil the weekend!) so I'm not going to award ANY points today. The scores remain how they were yesterday...
