But before we get too disappointed, this IS another Battle of Hoth item from The Empire Strikes Back, but depending on how hardcore you are it might not be instantly familiar. I knew what it was but had to do some research to find out its actual name.
It’s a FD P-Tower Laser Cannon, which has been released in the 3 3/4 action figure line as a Radar Laser Cannon. However, it was primarily used by the slipshod Rebel Alliance, not the Empire, and it was specifically to designed to be able to blow apart infantry while ordering pizza.
Not quite as fun as our last two days but I will forgive Lego (and Star Wars) if, tomorrow, we get a Hoth Rebel soldier to man it. IT’S IN YOUR HANDS NOW, LEGO. The gauntlet has been cast!
Sorry Lego, but in the ongoing competition between the Playmobil Game of Thrones calendar and this one, I have to give the point to Playmobil today! The score so far...
Playmobil Game of Thrones Advent Calendar: 7
Lego Star Wars Advent Calendar: 4

Nice save Luke. My son opened the door, looked at it and walked away. Didn't even bother to build it. So I immediately logged in and showed him the picture above and told him the name and now it's built. Owe ya one.
ReplyDeleteI have this thing and are you sure isn't an umbrella launcher?
ReplyDeleteOur house was one sad sulk fest on the 11th. Apparently, next year, "I want to go back to a chocolate calendar" ... nothing like a bit of gratitude to make you feel like a happy human at 6am is there? Why do we even bother having kids?
