The epic blood-drenched saga of the
Game of Thrones inspired
Playmobil Advent Calendar tensely continues as new contender to the throne, Dragon-Banging Mad Gary Targaryen, begins to gear up, readying himself to confront the suddenly sissified Sir Dudley of Moore who has barricaded himself in the keep at King’s Landing. Phew!
To see what’s behind
Door #11... join me after the jump!
I’m expecting perhaps some sword of sword but it’s actuallly...
A battle axe! And... a map? Well that is unexpected.
But let’s ogle this mighty, rough-hewn weapon first, a fitting match for the mad dragon-born, Gary, who weeps dragon-blood and hiccups explosions. This terrifying axe is perfect for leaving huge, gaping clefts in people which is why it has earned the infamous name... The Cleftinator!
Notice that the hook on Gary’s back has finally become useful, firmly holding The Cleftinator so that it is always in easy reach for butchering a foe, or carving up a steak.
But what of this fancy map?
Oh my god, you guys. This appears to reveal the intricate tunnel network that lies under King’s Landing! So the fact that Dudley has barricaded the door is meaningless because Gary could suddenly bust in his back door! But then the fact that Gary has the map is also meaningless because (mostly due to the constant tears of dragon blood) Gary can’t read maps. What a relief because we’re barely even halfway there.
What a sinister and largely superfluous turn of events! I can’t wait to see what happens tomorrow!
I'm done with Lego. Even staging a gungan vs Veers battle on a psychedelic rainbow striped paper plate hasn't rescued the Star Wars advent calender for me this year. Next year's all about Playmobil. I can't believe I missed out on an actual armoured horse hat. Fail.
