This is the big one, and also the last figure of the actual (super-powered) The Avengers line-up (although we do know there's at least a Coulsen and a Chitauri coming). Our dear friends at Sideshow have finally unleashed Hot Toys mighty 1/6th scale Hulk for pre-order!
The giant Hulk clocks in at 16.5 inches/42cm allowing him to appropriately tower above his team mates and that left many of us a little nervous about how much he would cost. Now we actually know I'm relieved to say that, relatively speaking, it's really not too bad. I remain all-in on The Avengers team and the releases will be staggered over the next six months or so to ease some of the pain.

It's a shame we don't have super high res pictures to look at because the big, green aspect makes him look more like a toy, but look closely and you can see all the realistic detail packed into his flesh. Veins a plenty!
And although he has some visible cuts (particularly at the shoulders and interchangeable hands) it looks to me like they've handled the articulation quite well...
Love the Mark Ruffalo head sculpt. His head contains the ingenious system where his eyeballs are separate pieces and can be moved independently.
As you can see, he doesn't come with a lot of stuff, but I don't think he requires a lot of stuff either. This one is all about the size. And I'm assuming he doesn't need a stand...
Feeling very confident that these will sell and sell fast (Nick Fury and Hawkeye are long sold out at Sideshow) I wouldn't be surprised if, further down the track, we get a Mark Ruffalo Bruce Banner figure as a companion piece. Would be very cool to see!
Hulk is anticipated for March next year.
I like to imagine that the back of this figure opens up, and Mark Ruffalo is tucked in the foetal position inside.
