Hot Toys Black Widow Revealed!

Here's the moment that a lot of us have been waiting for! On Hot Toy's facebook page they have finally released the full gallery of the Hot Toys Avenger's Black Widow 1/6th scale collectible figure, capturing the likeness of Scarlett Johansson! Here she is!:

This is definitely a completely different figure to the Iron Man 2 version and I would say that it's a considerable upgrade. Everything is new from the costumes, the details (check out the "stinger" outlets on her gloves) and this is a whole new body (with a smaller chest than the last one). The one thing that surprised me those is that I thought they were going to do sculpted hair for this one, but have gone the rooted route instead:

The rooted hair tends to go a little wild but I assume their experiments showed this to be the best option aesthetically. In these images it looks pretty great.

Apart from her puny human firearms she's also packed with the alien rifle which she recklessly swings around in the film:

I'm impressed! This is one that I'll definitely be buying and it's bound to be the definitive version of this character for sometime. Based on the buzz surrounding this one I think it will be popular. As soon as the pre-order goes up on Sideshow we will let you know! (But not until I've secured one!)
