I didn't have a chance to cheat and look up the barcodes (which are now impossible-to-see, lightly pressed dots) so I had to wing it and try to feel around enough to get the figures I wanted. This was super embarrassing because they're right at the front counter, and I had basically push a bunch of kids out of the way. But I was on a mission..
Side note: I never noticed the barcode trick until after I painfully felt up every single series 1 figure. I had to buy 20 of the minifigs to get all 16. But I think that was pretty damn awesome picking, if you ask me.
Second side note: I was behind a woman at Five Below that spent $398.00 on hula hoops, squishy balls, batteries and other crap. It was pure torture while I waited to open my new minifigs. The suspense of which ones were inside of the packages, mixed with the confusion of watching money being thrown away right in front of me, was seriously killing me.
Anyway... I bought 6, and here they are!
I love the little Lego brick pieces on the radio. |
This was in my top 3. I love the white head piece. I have about 4 or 5 of the Mime from Series 3. |
Another one in my top 3. My #1 most wanted was the Godzilla costume guy, but this boxer is one of the best yet. |
I don't really like the mask, but the new knife is cool. |
This one is an easy pack to find. You can feel the pointed ends of the club really easily. |
Another easy one to find by feeling around and looking for the banana. The chimp is so awesome too! |
If you're up for it, here is a barcode cheat sheet. It's almost easier to just feel the packages, but this might help narrow them down.
And if you missed our sneak peek at Minifigures Series 6, here's the link. (There is seriously a Statue of Liberty minifigure coming out.) http://www.fruitlesspursuits.com/2011/08/sneak-peek-at-lego-minifigs-series-6.html
